Lucy Powell completed her BA in Fine Art at Liverpool Art School before moving to Berlin in 1995. In 2003 she participated in the Goldrausch postgraduate art programme and 2005to 2012 worked as a translator and editor at perlentaucher.com bringing the German feuilleton landscape to the English-speaking world. As part of her research-based art practice, she co-initiated and co-ran two art/science salons: Satellite Salon and Salon Universitas, facilitating conversations and collaborations between these two worlds. As a practising artist within Tradukas, she insider knowledge of the art world’s evolving discourses.
