A native Austrian who grew up in South Africa, Eva-Raphaela Jaksch grew up as a native speaker of both English and German. She studied Latin and took a doctorate in Ancient History before becoming a translator. She specialises in history, art history, art, architecture, music, and social sciences and loves the challenge of managing large projects involving multiple translators and several languages. With an extremely precise approach to syntax and meaning thanks to her background in Latin, she still enjoys an opportunity to translate from Latin in the line of duty.
